? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />First reading• .S" <br />Second reading• <br />Third reading:?_ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81 - 67 <br />gY; JAMES BOEHMER <br />. ? <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTH OLMSTED BOARD <br />OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF LEASING THE <br />THIRD FLOOR OF BUTTERNUT SCHOOL, 27235 BUTTERNUT <br />RIDGE ROAD, FROM THE NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF <br />EDUCATION, WNICH WILL BE USED BY HORIZONS, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best <br />interest of the City of North Olmsted to lease the Third Floor <br />of Dover/Butternut School from the North Dlmsted Board of <br />Education for use by the Horizons Youth Program, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with the North Olmsted Board of <br />Education for the purpose of using said space for the Horizons <br />Youth Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted Board of Education <br />for the use of the Third Floor of Dover/Butternut School,owned by <br />the North Olmsted Soard of Education,by the Horizons Youth Program. <br />Said agreement shall among other things contain provisions with <br />respect to establishing hours of use, purpose, security, and cost <br />of leasing an area adequate for use by the Horizons Youth Program <br />as well as a provision indicating that the cost for leasing such <br />space shall not exceed $3,000.00 per year. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and we7fare, and for the further reason <br />that it is necessary to estab7ish an area for use by the Horizons <br />Youth Program at this time, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor: <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />f,A?ZA.? e, ?do?o' - 4?" 451;0:0?;" ? , <br />FL RENCE CAMPBELL, CLE OF COUNCIL DE Y LIMPERT, P SIDENT OF <br />COUNCIL <br />AP ED: 9 <br />, <br />i ?? •-+?-t?c?-w ? <br />ROBERT W.
