CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDIN.ANCr N0. 81 - 59 <br />BY: <br />MR_ WIL_AMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE F_,STABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND <br />COMPOSITION OF THE NON-UNIFORM T'ERSONNEL OF THF <br />POLICE nF,PARTMENT, TOGETHER IVITH SALARIES AND <br />VARIOUS BENEFITS FOR SAID EMPLOYEES, AND DECLAR- <br />INr_, AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHF,RF.AS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a comnlement <br />for non-uniform nolice nersonnel, together with certain various benefits <br />covering said emnloyees, anart from the nrganizational Chart established <br />for the uniform Police -oer5onnel. <br />NOIV, THERF.FORF., BE IT ORDAINED BY T1-IE COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTF.D, COiJNTY OF Ci1YAH0(;A AND ST.ATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIO'd l: The Organizat.ional Chart for the non-uniform nolice de- <br />partment personnel of the City of North Olnisted shall be as follows: <br />(a) There shall be one (1) secretary, four (4) clerks, thirty <br />(30) a.uxiliary nolice, four (4) dispatchers, one of which <br />sha11 be designated senior disnatcher, eighteen (18) <br />school guards and one (1) nolice matron nart-time. <br />SECTION 2: That the Council does hereby establish salaries for the <br />various employees specified in Section 1 hereof, from and after retroactively <br />.;anuary 1, 1981, which salaries shall be as follows: <br />(a) Secretary <br />The secretary shall be com-pensated in accordance with the <br />Ordinance establishin,g pay ranges for secretaries in the <br />Administrative Chart of the City of North Olmsfied. <br />(b) Clerk <br />Clerks shall be comnensated in accordance wiih the Ordi- <br />nance establi.shing nay ranges for clerks in the Adminis- <br />trative Chart of the City o_f_ North Olmsted. <br />(c) School Guards ................. $3.35 Per Hour <br />(cl) Auxiliary police .............. $3.35 Per Hour to ?3.45 Per Hour <br />(e) Police Matron ................. $3.35 Per tiour to $3.45 Per Hour <br />(f) Disnatchers (part-Time)....... $3.75 Per Hour <br /> <br />(g) Dispatchers (Full Time)....... $6,970.00 to 0,500.00 Annually <br />(h) Senior Dispatcher (Full Time). $7,090.00 to $9,700.00 Annually <br />SECTION 3: That all full time non-uniform nolice nersonnel, having <br />completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as emnloyees of <br />said department shall be naid an additional four nercent (4%) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter?until completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full <br />time continuous service, after which such employee sha?1 receive five ner- <br />cent (5°) of their bas annual salary; thereafter until the corrnletion of
