CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81 - 40 <br />BY: MRS. SARINGER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR 1,000 TONS <br />OF STONE FOR VARIOUS SFRVICE DEP:'1f:TMENT <br />NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 1,000 tons of <br />stone for various Service Denartment needs according to the <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason•that <br />it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's stone reauire- <br />ments, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : S, <br />ATTEST: <br />? ?. <br />IiL :NCF E.
