PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE, IN <br />COOPERATION WITH THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION OF <br />THE STATE OF OHIO, DOVER CENTER ROAD FROM LORAIN ROAD <br />TO THE NORTHERLY CORPORATION LINE BY CONSTRUCTING <br />CONCRETE SIDEWALKS ON THE EAST SIDE OF SAID STREET, <br />WHEREAS, this Council by Ordinance No. 79-79 , passed July 3 <br />1979, consented to the improvement of Dover Center Road from Butternut Ridge <br />Road to the northerly corporation line by the Director of Transportation <br />of the State of Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council determines that, as part of this improvement, <br />concrete sidewalks should be constructed on the east side of Dover Center <br />Road from Lorain Road to the north corporation line, the cost of which after <br />deducting any federal, state or county funds which may be allocated thereto, <br />will be paid by the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council determines that a portion of the City's share <br />of the cost of constructing said sidewalks should be assessed against the <br />abutting properties; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. That it is necessary to improve, in cooperation with <br />the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio, Dover Center Road from <br />Lorain Road to the northerly corporation line by constructing concrete sidewalks <br />on the east side of said street. <br />SECTION 2. That said street shall be improved as shown on the <br />plans hereinafter referred to and now on file in the office of the Clerk <br />of this Council. <br />SECTION 3. That it is hereby determined and declared that said <br />improvement is conducive to the public health, convenience and welfare of <br />said City and the inhabitants thereof. <br />SECTION 4. That the grade of said street as improved shall be <br />the grade as shown by the plans and profiles which have been prepared by <br />the City's consulting engineers, John David Jones and Associates, and which <br />are made a part hereof. <br />SECTION 5. That the plans, specification, estimates and profiles <br />of the proposed improvement, heretofore prepared by the City's consulting <br />engineers, John David Jones and Associates, and now on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of this Council, are hereby approved. <br />SECTION 6. That the cost of constructing said sidewalks, after <br />deducting the amounts allocated thereto from federal, state or county funds, <br />less 2% and the cost of intersections attributable to the remainder of such <br />cost, shall be assessed by the foot frontage method of assessment upon all
