CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 81-9 BY: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO ALL HOURLY EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY Z'HE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compensation schedule for all hourly personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF D10RTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That effective February 1, 1981, the compen- sation to be paid to all hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: A. Bus Operators Hired on or after November 1, 1979 l. $6.93 per hour -.first year service 2. $7.92 per hour - secand year service 3. $8.91 per hour - third year service 4. $9.90 per hour - top op erator rate Hired before November l, 1979 l. $7.92 per hour - first year service 2. $8.415 per hour - second year service 3. $8.91 per hour - third year service 4. $9.90 per hour - top operator rate Al1 part-time operators shall be paid in a range of $6.00 per hour to $8.15 per hour. B. Maintenance and Service Employ ees Hired on or after Augu st l, 19 80 Mechanic Equipment $7.11 per hour to start $8.125 per hour after 1 year $9.14 per hour after 2 years $10.155 per hour after 3 years Mechanic Leader $7.45 per hour to start $8.51 per hour after 1 year $9.575 per hour after 2 years $10.64 per hour after 3 years Mechanic Apprentice $6.67 per hour to start $7.62 per hour after 1 year $8.575 per hour after 2 years $9.525 per hour after 3 years Service Person $6.54 per hour to start $7.475 per hour after 1 year $8.41 per hour after 2 years $9.345 per hour after 3 years Hired before August l, 1980 Mechanic Equipment $9.685 per hour to start $9.89 per hour after 1 year $9.96 per hour after 2 years $10.155 per hour after 3 years
