CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-8 <br />BY: Yvonne Petrigac <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING NINETY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($98,000.00) FROM THE SEWER REVENUE FUND FOR THE COMPLETION <br />OF STEP 2 OF THE FACILITY PLAN, AS AMENDED <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted passed Ordinance 80-95 authorizing <br />h1ayor to enter into a particular agreement with the firm of Dalton, Dalton, <br />Newport, Inc., for the purpose of completing the Step 2 of the Facility Plan, <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has encountered numerous problems <br />regarding the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council has applied for Federal Aid from the <br />Environmental Protection Agency, and <br />the <br />and <br />UJHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to prepare the Step 2 of the Facility <br />Plan which includes plans, specifications, and estimates of cost and which must be <br />prepared by an engineering firm, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor and Council to hire the services of <br />Dalton, Dalton, Newport, Inc., to prepare said plans, specifications, and estimates <br />at a cost not to exceed Four Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($440,000.00) of which <br />Seventy-Five Percent (75%) is to be reimbursed throuqh a grant from the U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency, Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) from <br />the Board of County Commissioners, Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($9,800.00) <br />from the City of Fairview Park and Ninety-Eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00) from <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF rJORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Council hereby appropriates the sum of Ninety-Eight <br />Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00) from the Sewer Revenue Fund for the purpose of <br />paying the City of North Olmsted's share for the Facility Plan, Step 2, contract <br />with Dalton, Dalton, Newport, Inc. <br />SECTION Z: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested <br />copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTIOfd 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />PASSED : j9P/ <br />ATTEST: <br />- &Z?_ Z 44-00-- <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CLEP.K F COUNCIL <br />? <br />DEWEY .
