JANET SARINGER <br />-0*, <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND RECORD <br />A DEDICATION PLAT ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR DOVER CENTER ROAD ON <br />CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH- <br />WEST CORNER OF LORAIN ROAD AND DOVER CENTER <br />ROAD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted in cooperation with the <br />County of Cuyahoga desires to improve Dover Center Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the improvement project requires additional right- <br />of-way at the southwest corner of Lorain Road and Dover Center Road, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the <br />additional right-of-way on City owned property and have the same <br />dedicated for roadway purposes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and <br />directe to prepare a dedication plat establishing additional right- <br />of-way on the southwest corner of Lorain Road and Dover Center Road, <br />and that after the dedication plat is prepared, to have the same <br />recorded, thereby establishing the additional right-af-way which <br />wi11 be dedicated for roadway purposes. The subject dedication <br />plat is on file in the Office of the City Engineer. <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health., safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is necessary to establish the additional right-of-way so <br />that it may be incorporated into the overall improvement plans for <br />Dover Center Road, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />e£fect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FL EN CAMPBELL, CLERK F COUNCIL DE E .
