DATB December 5, 1989 An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of_____~jQ~ ~tI_Q~ms t~~_______-____- __-___, CuyahoJga____________ __ _ County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation by the Director of Transportation. WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for end proposes the improvement of a portion of. the public highway which is described as follows: Widen, reconstruct and resurface Great Northern Boulevard (SR-252) from Butternut Ridge Road to Lorain Road (SR-10) in the City of North Olmsted, a distance of 0.93 miles more or less. said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits. being hereinafter referred to as the improvement, end WHBRBAS, the City further desires cooperation from the Director of Transportation in the planning, design and construction of said improvement. NOW THBRBFORB, Be it ordained by the Council of the City ~of_____~T9~th_Q],mg_~S~_____________, Ohio: SECTION 1 (Cooperation) That said City hereby requests the cooperation of the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows: , The Department of Transportation will assume and contribute fifteen percent (15%) of the Federal participating portion of the improvement. The City does hereby agree to assume and contribute the entire cost and expense of the improvement less the amount of Federal-aid funds set aside by the Director of Transportation for the financing of this improvement from funds allocated by the Federal Highway Administration, United States Department of Transportation and less the amount. of State. Highway Funds determined to be eligible and set aside for the financing of the improvement. In addition, the. City will provide construction contract plans at entirely its own expense. SECTION 11 (Consent) =That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City be and such consent is hereby given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans;' specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION III (Authority to Sign) T1-at the __ Mayor- of said City, is hereby empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Director of Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvement. . SBCTION IV (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) That traffic control devices installed within the limits of the project will conform with Section 4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. Page 1 of 3
