<br />CITY OF NORTH OI~ISTID <br />ORDINANCE NO. 89-90 <br />By: Mayor Petrigac: <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND <br />OTHER EXPENDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID FOR THE YEAR <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will collect One Thousand Two Hun- <br />dred Dollars ($1,200) from residents of Porter Road for the installation of <br />drain tiles. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OI~ISTID, COUNTY OF <br />C[TYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1989, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows; <br />Current Increase Revised <br />GENERAL FL]ND <br />General Goverrmlent: <br />Porter Drain Tiles -0- 1,200 1,200 <br />Timber Trails Culvert <br />and Head Wall 87,000 9,650 96,650 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council. shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcan any of the aforegoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />
