ti r <br />~ i F <br /> <br />.~.. <br /> <br />(D) For purposes of this Section, "tenant" shall mean: <br />(1) If there is a written lease or rental agreement, the <br />person or persons who signed the written lease or rental <br />agreement with the owner; or <br />(2) If there is an oral lease or rental agreement, the person <br />or persons with whom the owner enters into the oral lease or <br />rental agreement. <br />(E) Whoever violates any provision of this Section shall: <br />(1) For a first offense: pay a fine of not more than Twenty <br />Five Dollars ($25.00); <br />(2) For a second offense: pay a fine of not more than Fifty <br />Dollars ($50.00); <br />(3) For a third and all subsequent offenses: pay a fine of <br />not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). <br />SECTION 2: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to amend the taxation code in order to provide for these <br />reporting requirements for the year 1990, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,~~,--ti~m.~..~ ~r ~9 ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />F orence E.
