CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 89- 71 BY: Mayor Petri~ac AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That to provide for current expencfiit-ures of said City of North Olmsted December 31, 1989, that the following sums by set aside and appropriated as follows: SEWER REVENUE FUND CURRENT expenses and other during the year ending be and they are here- INCREASE REVISED EQuipment Systems $37,000 $10,000 $47,000 System Material 7,000 5,000 12,000 Plant Vehicle Expense 6,500 5,000 11,500 $50,500 $20,000 $70,500 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately for- ward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga Councy. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw is warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore approved by the Board of Officers author- ized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropri- ations herein made.
