/It <br />it <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />N0. 89-48 <br />BY: DEAN McKAY <br />1 <br />/. /`/'1/ ~~ C.1 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE REPAIR OF SUNSET OVAL, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Street and Drainage Committee of the City Council <br />recognizes that Sunset Oval is in dire need of repair and in order to <br />accomplish same, wishes to instruct the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for the repair of same; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the repair of Sunset Oval all of which <br />shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety <br />and welfare of the individuals using Sunset Oval and further, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST• <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, <br />Clerk of Council <br />JANET SARINGER, <br />President of Council <br />MAYOR M.
