CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89 - 47 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DTRECTQR QF PUBLIC SAFETY <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FQR ONE (.1) EMERGENCY RESCUE VENZCLE <br />AND EQUIPMENT, FIREFIGHTER TURNQUT GEAR, AIR PACKS AND <br />TANKS AND RADIO EQUIPMENT Tp BE USED BY THE NORTH OLM$TED <br />FIRE DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TQ CQNTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CQUNTY QF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of public Safety be dnd he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for one (.1) emergency rescue vehicle and <br />equipment, firefighter turnout gear, air packs and tanks and radio equip- <br />ment for the Fire Division. Said items sha11 conform to the specifications <br />now on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is also hereby authorized to <br />enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason it is immediately necessary <br />to maintain safety for area residents and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED; /~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
