CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 89-43 <br />By: Counci]man Wilamosky: <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CtTRRF'N'r EXPENSES AND <br />OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989. <br />WHEREAS the Great Northern Partnership and the Biskind Development <br />Company have donated a total of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) to the <br />City for the beautification of Brook Park Road within the city limits of <br />North O]msted and <br />Wf~REAS THE City wishes to accept these gifts and express its grati- <br />tude to these local businesses for their generosity and civic spirit. <br />NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CLIYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1989, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows; <br />Current Increase Revised <br />GENERAL FLAVD <br />Brookpark Beautification 3,700 1,500 5,200 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />attested copies of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, the <br />Great Northern Partnership, and the Biskind Development Ccanpany. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />
