CITY OF 1VORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 89-36 <br />PAGE FIVE <br />SECTION b: The Recreation Director shall, from time to time, review the f'ee <br />schedule as set forth herein and recommend any changes which shall be deemed <br />necessary along with reasons therefore to the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />of the City of North Olmsted. Upon approval of said changes, the Parks and recreation <br />Commission shall recommend said changes to the Council of the~,City of North Olmsted <br />for approval. The Recreation Director shall, however, have the discretion to adjust <br />the fee schedule, but not less than 50% of the regular rate for special events <br />and promotional purposes on a limited basis that are sponsored by the Recreation <br />Department. The Recreation Director shall also establish spectator admission <br />charges, set prices on merchandise and other services offered for sale. The Recreation <br />Director may pay to a sponsoring organization not more than 50~ of the spectator <br />admission charges derived from their event. The Director may charge the North <br />Olmsted Varsity Hockey Team the current ice rate from Varsity gate receipts and <br />5Uq of the remaining balance. In the event the gate receipts are less than the current <br />ice rate, the Varsity Hockey Team will be billed for the full current rate. <br />SECTION g: Fees for other programs currently operated by the Recreation <br />Department shall be: <br />Tee-Ball Clinic <br />Tee-Ball & Softball Leagues <br />Summer Youth Tennis Lessons <br />Handicap Program <br />Women's Recreation <br />Football (5th & 6th) League <br />Basketball (5th & 6th( League <br />Central Playground <br />Private Park Facility Permit <br />(with maintenance) <br />$10.00 <br />$15.00 <br />$12.00-$30.00/Session <br />$12.00 <br />$15.00-$30.00/Session <br />$35.00 <br />$15.00 <br />$20.00 <br />$ 5.00 <br />$10.00 <br />Any non-resident wishing to participate in any of the above programs shall <br />be charged an additional $10.00 per activity. <br />SECTION 10: New Programs, rates and rees, as they are initiated by the <br />Recreation Director shall be established with approval of the Recreation Commission. <br />SECTION 11: All fees within this Urdinance shall become effective <br />May 1, 1989. <br />SECTION 12: That Ordinance 86-2g, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted be and the same is hereby repealed, and any other Ordinances or <br />Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict herewith, be and the <br />same are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 13: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to adjust various fees <br />in light of present operating expenses, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />
