CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />ORDINANCE NO. 89-24 <br />By: Councilman Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER AND MAKE APPI~PRIATIONS FOR <br />C[TRRENr EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDIT[TRES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OIMSTID FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989. <br />WHEREAS the City of North Olmsted has been granted a 100% I/A Fix tJp <br />grant to address the ash problems which resulted during the Step III Waste <br />Water Treatment Plant modification, and <br />WHEREAS the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has authorized payment <br />for the design and engineering phase of the I/A Fix LTp, and <br />WHEREAS the City has established the Step IV Fund to account for all re- <br />ceipts and expenditures having to do with said I/A Fix tTp. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID, COLTN'I'Y OF <br />CLTYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1989, that the following sums be and they are hereby trans- <br />ferred, set aside and appropriated as follows; <br />Current Increased Decreased Revised <br />STEP III FUND <br />To Step IV Fund -0- 175,000 -0- 175,000 <br />STEP IV FCTND <br />Engineering & Design -0- 175,000 -0- 175,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an at- <br />tested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing ap- <br />propriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, ap- <br />proved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Or- <br />dinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no <br />warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons em- <br />ployed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />
