CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89 - 23 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR ONE (1) 20 CUBIC YARD <br />SLUDGE-HAULING BOX FOR USE AT THE WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for one (1) 20 cubic yard sludge- <br />hauling box for use at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary since the present equipment is unable to keep up with the volume <br />of sludge now being processed daily, and further, provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~~, /,~' I9 ~j <br />ATTEST <br />F OREN E E.
