CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION 89-22 <br />BY: MAYOR M. YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY 5-YEAR ONE MILL <br />LEVY RENEWAL ON MAY 2, 1989. <br />WHEREAS, the Administration and Council recognizes the unique <br />and vital services provided by Cuyahoga County Public Library to <br />the residents of all ages living the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, the current one mill which voters approved in 1984 <br />provides one-third of the Library's total operating budget and <br />will expire at the end of 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the Library Board of Trustees has determined that <br />the amount of taxes which is currently being generated is <br />sufficient to maintain the Library's current level of operation: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council supports the passage of the <br />Cuyahoga County Public Library S-year one mill levy renewal issue <br />and does hereby urge the citizens of North Olmsted to vote for the <br />issue in order that the informational, educational, professional <br />and recreational needs of the community will be met and to ensure <br />that the delivery of quality library services will continue. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution shall be in effect from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
