CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 89-21 <br />BY: Mayor Petrigac <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND COMPOSITION <br />OF THE NON-UNIFORM, PART-TIME PERSONNEL OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGINCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a complement of non- <br />uniform, part-time police personnel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organization Chart for the non-uniform, part-time Police <br />Department personnel of the City of North Olmsted and the salary ranges be as <br />follows: <br />(a) School Guards <br />$4.37 Per Hour - First Year <br />5.32 Per Hour - After First Year <br />(b) Auxiliary Police <br />(c) Jail Matron/Jailer <br />(d) Dispatchers <br />(e) Off-duty Electrical Maintenance <br />4.37 Per Hour - First Year <br />5.32 Per Hour - After First Year <br />4.37 Per Hour - First Year <br />5.32 Per Hour - After First Year <br />5.22 TO $6.27 Per Hour <br />6.83 TO 9.11 Per Hour <br />SECTION 2: That the salary ranges and amounts established for the year 1989 <br />will e effect-ive retroactive to January 1, 1989. Salaries specified in this <br />ordinance whall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance hereby repeals any and all Ordinance or parts <br />of Or incfi ante or Resolutions inconsistent herewith. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />imme latcT~ely necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for continuity of services <br />of the safety forces of the City, and further, provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~' <br />ATTEST <br />G~;' C~ <br />lorence E.
