CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 89-5 <br />BY: RONALD WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING CITY OWNED REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT <br />5946 BARYON ROAD, BEARING PERMANENT PARCEL NUMBER 234- <br />06-071;, AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO <br />HIRE THE SERVICES OF AN APPRAISER AND TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />BIDS FOR THE SALE OF SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the property at 5946 Barton <br />Road previously purchased in conjunction with the development of the Barton <br />Road Soccer fields is no longer needed for municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have said property <br />appraised and to establish a minimum bid price for said property and <br />thereafter to advertise said property for sale to the highest and best <br />bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the property at 5946 Barton Road to be appraised and that <br />thereafter to advertise the sale of said property at an amount not below a <br />minimum ninety percent of the market value and that said advertisement <br />shall provide for minimum terms of sale approved by the Director of Law of <br />the City of North Olmsted, and that upon receipt of the bids for the sale <br />of said property that the Board of Control award the bid to the highest and <br />best bidder and that the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to execute a <br />deed on behalf of the City, upon said approval. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : s`7-"' <br />ATTEST: <br />LORENCE CAMPBELL, _ <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />J T SARINGER, <br />PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED:~,T~'rr~) '~, /9~9 First Reading: i~~ <br />o Second Reading: ~9~ ~9~y <br />Third Reading: ,3 ~ ~~6Q <br />MA OR YVONNE PETRIGAC Committee• ' <br />
