Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00); during the calendar year of 1991 <br />they shall receive a clothing allowance of Five Hundred Seventy <br />Five Dollars ($575.00) to be determined and disbursed by and with <br />approval of the Chief of Police. <br />ARTICLE XIII <br />SICK AV <br />13.1. Sick leave shall be accumulated in accordance with <br />Section 161.01 of the Codified Ordinance of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />13.2. In-the event that a full-time sworn employee of the <br />North Olmsted Police Department should be injured while in the <br />line of duty due to a sudden and accidental occurrence, and such <br />injury has so incapacitated said member of the Police. Department <br />than he is temporarily unable to work, then tl4e Director of Public <br />Safety, after determining that said-injury is work-related.and is <br />of a temporary nature, may authorize ninety (90) days sick leave. <br />If after. such ninety (90) day sick leave period said employee is <br />still temporarily incapacitated, then the Director of Public <br />Safety shall recommend to Council whether or not to continue said <br />salary. Council shall forthwith review the matter and, by <br />majority-vote, determine whether the employee shall continue to <br />receive his full salary during recuperation. <br /> <br />- 13 - <br />
