New employees shall be considered to be on probation for <br />a period of ninety (90) calendar days. During the probationary <br />period, discharge or suspension by the City shall not be subject <br />to the grievance procedure. <br />19. If an employee is discharged or quits during the probation- <br />ary period described in Paragraph 18 and is later rehired, he <br />shall be considered as a new employee and subject to the <br />provisions of Paragraph 18. <br />SENIORITY <br />.? <br />+?r 20. Only regular full-time employees of the City shall have <br />seniority. Students, summer employees and part-time employees <br />? shall have no seniority rights.
