CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83- 129 <br />BY: RONALD WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE <br />HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT IN THE N1AXIMUM AMOUNT OF <br />ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) TO BE USED FOR SERVICING <br />EMERGENCY INDIGENT CLIENTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department does service emergency <br />indigent clients, for the purpose of providing sustenance for said <br />indigent clients, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a petty <br />cash fund with a maximum to be maintained in said fund of One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: There is hereby created a petty cash fund within <br />the Human Resources Department with a maximum amount of One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100.00), and the expenditures out of that fund will be <br />properly receipted. The Director of said Department or his designee <br />shall supply receipts to the Director of Finance, who in turn, will <br />replenish the amount depleted from the petty cash fund, upon being <br />satisfied that the receipts are in proper order. The expenditures <br />out of said fund will be for sustaining emergency indigent clients <br />and for no other purpose. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to make provisions for emergency care <br />of indigent clients, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of a11 members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: .e??, /.S ; /9f.3 <br />11 <br />ATTEST: <br />?
