CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83- 122 <br />BY: DEAN McKAY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PAINTING AND <br />REPAIR OF THE 1968 AMERICAN LaFRANCE AERIAL TRUCK <br />IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to <br />paint and repair the 1968 American LaFrance Aerial Truck in the <br />Fire Department, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize <br />the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he <br />is here'by autho ir zed and directed to advertise for bids for the <br />painting and repair of the 1968 American LaFrance Aerial Truck <br />in the Fire Department, which shall be in accordance with the <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />of the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary to keep said vehicle in operable <br />condition, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of a11 members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />P AS S E D: /S0 a f.3 <br />AMES D.
