1- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83 - 114 <br />BY: AeFL C(J <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,500 TONS OF <br />ROAD SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,500 tons of <br />road salt in accordance with specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the safe <br />use of city streets during the winter season, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediatel3r <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : &Kta-?, F3 <br />k&'O? 4? c 4.06 <br />F ORENCE E.
