That the GRANTEE, due to reasons beyond their control, may at any time <br />after execution of this agreement terminate the grant, in whol_e or in <br />part, upon written notification to the DEPARTMEIVT. In tr:e event of such <br />termination, the CRE1NM shall not incur any new obligations, and sLiall be <br />paid for expenditures incurred prior to termination, and sha.ll cancel as <br />many outstanding obligations as possible. Any unused funds shall be <br />returned to the DEPARTMENT within fifteen (15) days of such termination. <br />7. The GRANTEE will not discrim;nate against any employee applicant for <br />employrnent because of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, <br />age, sex or any handicap. The GREINTEE will take affirmative acti_on to <br />ensure that applicants are employed, and tha.t employees are treated during <br />employment, without regard to their race, color, religion, national <br />origin, ancestry, age, sex or any handicap. Such action shall include, <br />but is not limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or <br />transfer; recn..iitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; <br />rates of pay or other forms of ccxnpensation; and selection for training, <br />including apprenticeship. The GRANTEE agrees to post in conspicuous <br />places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to <br />be provided by the DEPAR'IMENT setting forth the provisions o£ this <br />nondiscrimination clause. <br />8• The GWTI'EE will, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees <br />placed by or on behalf of the GRAN'I'EE, state that all qualified <br />applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to <br />race, color, religion, nationa.l origin, ancestry, age, sex or any <br />handicap. <br />9. The GRATTEE agrees tha.t he will fully cooperate with the State Equal <br />Fmployment Opportunity Coordinator, with any other official or agency of <br />the State or Federal Govenunent which seeks to eliminate unlaw£ul <br />employment discrimination, and with all other State and Federal efforts <br />to assure equal employment practices under this contract, and said <br />GRANTEE shall comply promptly with all requests ancl directions fram the <br />State of Ohio or any of its officials and agencies in this regard, both <br />before and duri.ng performarzce.
