SwietyniowSki <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERING FORTY-SIX THOUSAND, SEVENTY-TWO <br />DOLLARS ($46,072.00) FOR CURRENT EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING AECEMBER 31, <br />1983, AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been declared necessary to issue bonds of the City of <br />North Olmsted in the principal sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) <br />for the purpose of acquiring a telephone system, and <br />WHEREAS, that amount was previously appropriated to the General Fund, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Forty-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred, Taenty-Eight Dollars _- <br />(43,928.00) was expended during the year ended December 31, 1982 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />From To <br />General Fund Capital Improvements Fund <br />City Hall Telephone . . . . . . . .$46,072 Telephone. . . . . .$46,072 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants <br />on the City Treasury for payments from the foregoing appropriation upon receiving proper <br />certificates and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except <br />to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided, <br />further that the appropriation for contingencies of expense constituting a legal obliga- <br />tion against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriation herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the furture <br />reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of services, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: M a,,A /7_ /9 ,f3 <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
