<br />AR'('ICLE 18. CHANGE IN CRAUF. OF S'f1it;E"fS
<br />18.01 Where the es(ablished grade of any street or public way under which trunk mains, ma ns, pipcs, or
<br />scrvice connections are installed is to be altered or re-established at more than one foot (1') be )w the grade
<br />used for the installations, then MUNICIPALITY shall lower or shall cause to bc lowered thc runk mains,
<br />mains, pipes, or service connections to the depth required in Paragraph 10.04(n, a1 no cost to
<br />PURVEYOR.
<br />18.02 Where the established grade of any street or public way under which trunk mains, m; ns, pipes, or
<br />service conneclions are installed is lo be altered or re-established at more than two feet (2') at ve the grade
<br />used for such installation, MUNICIPAL[TY shall replace or shall cause to be replaced such runk mains,
<br />mains, pipes, or service connections lo the depth required in Paragraph 10.04(n, a no cost to
<br />PURVEYOR.
<br />18.03 Where relocation or re-establishment of grade is made of any strecl or pi
<br />MUNICIPALITY, or with its consent or approval, which relocation or re-establishment o
<br />public way causes all or part of existing lrunk rttains, mains, hydrants, service connecliotis o
<br />to be located outside of the rclocated street or public way, lhen MUNICIPALITY shal( cat
<br />mains, mains, hydrants, service connections or meter vaults to be relocated within tlle
<br />relocated street or public way at no cost to PURVEYOR or shall cause an easement to
<br />PURVEYOR and MUN1CtPALITY covering the property within which such trunk i
<br />hydrants, service connections or meter vaults are located for the purposes of using, inslal
<br />and maintaining such facilities.
<br />ARTICLE 19. VACATION OF STREETS
<br />19.01 Where any dedicated or proposed street, who(ly or partly improved with watcr fat
<br />*W,, vacated in a MUNICIPALITY, the MUNIC1PALlT'Y or the owner of the street shall file a
<br />proposed vacation with PURVEYOR before the effective date of ttie vacalioii.
<br />19.02 Within thirty (30) days of lhe receipt of the notice provided for in Paragraph 19.01.
<br />shall notify MUNICIPAL(TY in writing of any relocation or alteration in walcr facililies r

<br />19.03 Any relocation or alteralion of water mains, service connections, fire hydrants vaives, curb
<br />cocks, meters, or meter vaults or olher water facilities in any street or public way necessita rd by a street
<br />vacation, shall be at the expensc of MUNICIPALITY, or the benefitting party. Shouid MU? ;CIPALITY,
<br />or the benefilling party, be unwilling or unable lo make the relocaiion or alteraiion ! yuircd, lhen
<br />PURVGYOR may proceed wilh Ihe relocation or alterations and be reimbursed as hereina ier provided.
