<br />q?3 <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED / a„I) <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83- ? <br />71 <br />BY: YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTAI3LISHING A BENEFITS POLICY FOR <br />CETA EMPLOYEES, WHO AFTER SERVING AS CETA EMPLOYEES <br />CONTINUE THEIR EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, in the past, the City of North Olmsted has <br />hired CETA employees through the County to perform certain <br />duties and functions as employees of the County working for <br />the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council recognizes that a number of <br />employees have continued to be employed by theCity of. North <br />Olmsted after termination under the CETA Program, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to include the <br />CETA time of employees with respect to determining certain <br />benefits that are granted to employees generally in the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That any present or future employee of the <br />City of North Olmsted, who has worked for the City of North <br />Olmsted under a CETA Program, sha11 have included in the cal- <br />culation of time for various benefits, which shall include <br />vacation and longevity, among other benefits, that time which <br />was spent working for the City of North Olmsted under a CETA <br />Program. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in force from aafter the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
