CITY OF NORTH OLMSTEA gy Mayor Swietyniowski ORDINANCE N0. 8 3- 8 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON CERTAIN PERMANENT PARCELS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance Director of the City of North Olmstea, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. WHEREAS, the following persons have paid in ful.l the future payments for special assessments on certain parcels as set forth below: PARCEL N0. PAYEE ADDRESS CODE AMOUNT 231-03-18 Commonwealth 23964 LaBern 9055 $112.62 234-27-14 Bammer &Servidio 28358 Holly Dr. 9057 281.70 237-09-003 Home Federal 23239 Lorain 9055 172.02 237-22-19 Demko 4549 Clague 9055 139.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cancel assessments in full for the above parcels. Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments on said parcels. Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emerhency exixts by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on certain permanent parcels. Section 5: 4dherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED: ATTEST: 0 ' ? k Florence E.
