CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 8 3- 88 <br />BY: <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF EDUCATION <br />WITH RESPECT TO THE USE OF SCHOOL BUSES FOR THE CITY <br />SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM, AND DECLARING AN IIMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Recreation Commission <br />together with this Council that the Summer Recreation Program can use <br />bus transportation for field trips for participants in the program, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract with the North Olmsted Board of Education for the <br />purpose of using said school buses for the Summer Recreation Program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, $E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted Board of Education for the <br />use of school buses owned by the North Olmsted Board of Education in the <br />Summer Recreation Program. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary to <br />establish the Recreation Program for the Summer of 1983 at this time, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: Sje.3 <br />ATTEST: <br />82?? b .
