<br />A <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-96 <br />BY: RONALD WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 165.03 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES ENTITLED "LANDMARKS COMN:ISSION; <br />CREATION, COMPOSITION AND TERMS", OF CHAPTER 165 <br />ENTITLED "LANDMARKS COMMISSION". <br />WHEREAS, this Council deems it necessary to clarify the <br />provisions of Section 165.03 of the Codified Ordinances. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 165.03 entitled "Landmarks <br />Commission, Creation, Composition and Terms", of Chapter 165 <br />entitled "Landmarks Commission" which now reads: <br />"165.03 LANDMARKS COMMISSION; CREATION, <br />COMPOSITION AND TERb4S. <br />There is hereby created the North Olmsted Landmarks <br />Commission. Such Commission shall consist of nine members, six <br />of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the con- <br />firmation of Council. The remaining members shall be one <br />appointed by City Council, one member of City Council, and one <br />member of the City Planning Commission. Each appointed member <br />shall serve for a term of two years and may be reappointed. The <br />members of the Landmarks Commission shall adopt rules and regula- <br />tions, together with bylaws, providing for the operation of the <br />Landmarks Commission. Said rules, regulations, and hylaws shall <br />include provisions for the election of a chairman, the designa- <br />tion of ineeting times, the establishment of subcommittees and <br />the 1ike. The members of the Landmarks Commission shall serve <br />without compensation.
