CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NUMBER 83 - 99 <br />BY Dean Mc Kay <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDTPJG ORDTNANCE N0. 83 - 2211 " AN QRDINANCE TO MAKE <br />APPROPRIATTONS POR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDTTURES FOR THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDTNG DECEMBER 31 , 1983" FUND <br />TITLED " PARKS AND RECREATTON" BY ADDTNG A NEW LTNE ITEM ENTTTLED, <br />"PRO SHOP - TEAM SALES" AND APPROPRIATING $10,500,00 TQ THE ACCOUNT. <br />AND DECLARING AN IIMERGFNCY. <br />WHEREAS, additional revenues have been received by the RecreatTon fund <br />through Pro Shop sa1es in the amount of $10,500.00, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that "Team Sa1es" have i'ncreased <br />by 71.9% in a year, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that at the present tTme there <br />exist two known orders for "Team Sales", and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it fs necessary to add a new <br />line item to the appropriation ordinance to cover "Team Sa1es" at tfie Pro <br />Shop in order to make large purchases. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT ORDAINED BY THE CDUNCIL OF THE CITY 0f <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE 0F OHTO: <br />SECTION 1: That "Parks and Recreation Fund" of Ordinance No. 83 - 22 <br />appropriation ordinance is amended to read: <br />Pro Shop - Team Sales ----------------------------------$10,500.00 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to draw his <br />warrants on the City Treasury for payments from the aforegoing appropriations <br />upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approvbd by the <br />Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Re- <br />solution of Council to make the expenditures provided that no warrants shall <br />be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by_authority <br />of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further that the <br />appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two- <br />thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation <br />against the City and for the purposes other than those covered by the other <br />specific appropriation herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />we7fare, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: /j, ig" <br />AT . s <br />6' <br />F ENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK COUNCIL <br />;o` o: ? g ?$3 <br />? . . <br />1\VULn I ri.
