<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />First reading: ? 130 & <br />Second reading: / <br />Third reading: agi? <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84 - 112 <br />? <br />BY: )Xf <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR NEW TIRES AND <br />TUBES FOR USE BY THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for new tires and tubes <br />to be used by the city in accordance with the specifications now <br />on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that the anticipated purchase cost will fall above the bidding <br />limit as set forth in the City Charter, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mernbers elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />4aORE?NCE E.
