Wilamosky <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTEA <br />ORDINANCE N0. 84 - 16 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERING FUNDS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER <br />EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIQ, FOR THE YEAR <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1984; AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted wishes to fund the interest expense of <br />the Bus Garage, Service Garage, Administrative Facility, other than that portion <br />included in the original note issue, through income tax proceeds, and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 82-163 temporarily transferred funds from the Casualty <br />Loss Fund to both the General Obligation Bond Retirement Fund and the Sewer <br />Revenue Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized and <br />directed to transfer funds as follows: <br />FROM <br />General Fund 43,240.00 <br />Bond Retirement 100,000.00 <br />Sewer Revenue 85,085.00 <br />$228,325.00 <br />TO <br />Bond Retirement 43,240.00 <br />Casualty Loss 185,085.00 <br />$228,325.00 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to draw his warrants <br />on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing funds upon receiving <br />proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers <br />authorized by law to approve same, or an prdince or Resolution of Council to make <br />the Expendutures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or <br />wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />Provided further that the funds for contingencies can only be expended upon approval <br />of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation <br />against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />funds herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest <br />date permitted by Article IV.
