v <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />First reading : ??z U ?9if- <br />Second reading: <br />Third reading: t <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84 - 24 <br />BY w? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF <br />STONE FOR VARIOUS SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for <br />various Service Department needs according to the specifications <br />now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's stone <br />requirements, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED : <br />^? <br />ATTEST: <br />Alf <br />lo . <br />FL RENCE E.
