CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84 - as <br />BY: ?) <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 5,000 TONS OF <br />ASPHALT AND TACK COATING OF CITY STREETS, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of asphalt and <br />tack coating of city streets, according to specifications now on file <br />in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is Yiereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's asphalt <br />and tack coating requirements, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ?? z 7? <br />ATTEST: <br />,1 <br />?AME?SD. ? ? <br />F ORENCE E.
