CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84-34 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR SWEEPING OF ALL STREETS IN THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to maintain a high level <br />of sanitation and cleanliness in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to maintain said level <br />at the lowest possible cost to the City, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that a high level of <br />sanitation and cleanliness at the lowest possible cost will be best achieved <br />through contracting with a private sweeper cleaning service, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to advertise for bids <br />for said services to obtain competitive bids. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for street sweeping service for all streets <br />in the City of North Olmsted, accordino to the specifications now on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and further, provided that it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />7 ? ? <br />FLORENCE E.
