CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 84 - 7 <br />BY: MR. O'GP•ADY <br />AN ORDINANCE MIENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />MAP AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY PROHIBITING PARKING AT ANY TIME ON BOTH <br />SIDES OF COUNTRY CLUB BOULEVARD, FROM <br />VICTORIA LANE TO COLUb;BIA ROAD, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that there is <br />presently congestion in the area of Country Club Boulevard <br />where the same runs from Victoria Lane to Columbia Road, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been further advised that it <br />is a traffic hazard to permit vehicles to park on Country Club <br />Boulevard in that area, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to prohibit <br />parking on Country Club Boulevard on both sides of the street <br />from Victoria Lane to Columbia Road, and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for <br />the maintenance of a Traffic Control Map which said Map can <br />only be amended by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFOR.E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLAISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Police Department be and they are <br />hereby aut o ri ed and directed to amend the Traffic Control <br />Map and file of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon <br />no parking on both sides of Country Club Boulevard, from <br />Victoria Lane to Columbia Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directe to cause said-no parking sigrs" to be placed in <br />the area as hereinbefore specified. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordin ance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for vehicular <br />traffic safety in the aforesaid area, and further provided it <br />receive the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: aw <br />ATTEST: <br />? <br />Florence E.
