,rr <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84 - 98 <br />BY: Mrs. Petrigac <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION OFFICE FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />GRANT-IN-AID FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 1984 - 1985 <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council by virtue of the adoption of <br />Resolution No. 84-58 authorized the filing of an application for <br />a Grant with the Ohio Historic Preservation Office, which Grant <br />application was accepted; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to complete the Grant process it is <br />necessary for this Council to adopt a Resolution accepting the <br />Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to accept the <br />Grant from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office and at the same <br />time authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with said <br />Office, relative to said Grant which amounts to $3,300.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLNiSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into the Grant Agreement with the Ohio <br />Historic Preservation Office, which Agreement is attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to process the Grant Agreement <br />by accepting it with the within Resolution within a certain time <br />frame, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />of the Mayor, <br />PASSED: ? /./ , /.9 a <br />ATTEST: <br />( " 4? )k ?
