CITY OF,NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85 - 122 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT <br />OLMSTED COMMUNITY CABIN, <br />NORTH OLMSTED COMMUNITY <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EMERGENCY. <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />BIDS FOR THE REWIRING OF THE NORTH <br />AS DETAILED IN THE REWIRING OF THE <br />CABIN SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Mayor are desirous of upgrading <br />the electrical wiring at the North Olmsted Community Cabin to comply <br />with present building codes, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the Mayor to contract <br />with an architect to prepare specifications for the upgrading of the <br />wiring at the North Olmsted Community Cabin, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cuyahoga <br />has approved this project as eligible for Community Development Block <br />Grant Funds and allocated Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($14,000) for the <br />total project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the rewiring of the North <br />Olmsted Community Cabin according to the specifications now on file in <br />his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute said contract <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and further, provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 4 <br />-, S <br />ATTEST: <br />? . <br />- 9Z4?? ?; - - - Florence E.
