<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85 - 119 <br />BY: Ronald J. Wilamosky <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT <br />OF THE EXISTING BOX CULVERT CROSSING McKENZIE ROAD, APPROXI- <br />MATELY 800 FEET SOUTH OF LORAIN ROAD, AS DETAILED IN THE <br />McKENZIE ROAD CULVERT SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of upgrading the roadway <br />width and eliminating the deteriorated box culvert that crosses <br />McKenzie Road, approximately 800 feet south of Lorain Road, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor <br />to enter into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the removal and replacement <br />of the McKenzie Road culvert according to plans and specifications now <br />on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby. authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and further, provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />P A S S E D: IFs <br />-??- <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
