WILAMOSKY <br />FROM TO <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORllINANCE 85-71 ENTITLED "AN <br />ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS <br />ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEAR <br />1985, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY" BY CORRECTING VARIOUS <br />PORTIONS THEREOF AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance 85-71 provided for various benefits and salary <br />ranges for individuals in the administration; and <br />WHEREAS, there are a number of items that need to be corrected namely: <br />a provision for an increase for the prosecutor, a provision for existing <br />personnel in the Department of Human Resources and a provision for the <br />benefits for the Chief of Police and Assistant Fire Chief, as well as the <br />Fire Chief. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the existing Section 2 of Ordinance 85-71 which now <br />reads: <br />SECTION 2: That the following salary ranges are <br />hereby established for employees of the Department of <br />Law: <br />A. Director of Law <br />B. Assistant Director of <br />Law (Civil) <br />C. Assistant Director of <br />Law (Prosecutor) <br />D. Assistant Prosecutor <br />$8,049 Annually <br />$3,500 <br />E. Law Clerk $5.00 $6.71 Per Hour <br />F. In addition, the Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutor <br />shall receive compensation in the amount of $32.17 for <br />each Not Guilty Plea attended to on the behalf of the <br />City during the period. <br />G. The Director of Finance is authorized and directed <br />to pay to the Director of Law for secretarial services <br />and other general office expenses, the sum of <br />$10,722.60. <br />be and the same as amended shall real as follows: <br />41, <br />$29,000 Annually <br />$10,000 $14,633 Annually <br />SECTION 2: That the following salary ranges are <br />hereby established for employees of the Department of <br />Law:
