CITY OF NORTH OUI.STED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 85- 100 <br />BY: MAYOR SNIIETYNI0WSKI <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE N0. 82-94 <br />ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1501.1901 OF <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED <br />ENTITLED TAX CREDIT OF CfIAPTER 1501.19 EN`I'ITLED TAX <br />PAYERS RELIEF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AS ANIENDED" <br />I'VHEItEAS, Ordinance No. 82-94 provided for the reduction of credit <br />for the municipal income tax from 75% to 500; and <br />WHERF.AS, when Council passed said Ordinance it provided in Section <br />3 that the reduction in tax credit would be in force only through December <br />31, 1985; and <br />WI-IEREAS, this Council has determined that the revenue derived from <br />said reduced tax credit is needed for the providing of essential services <br />to the residents of the City; and <br />WfiEREAS, this Council has determined that the restriction relative to <br />the effective date of said reduction of tax credit should be eliminated <br />altogether. <br />NOW, Tf-IEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY Tf-E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the provisions of Section 3 of Ordinance No. 82-94 <br />regar ing t e effective period relative to the tax credit be and the same <br />is hereby repealed. <br />SEC TION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />1 <br />APPROVED: ? <br />? . <br />?
