JOB TITLE: <br />Responsible to: <br />LABORER "A" <br />Division Foreman <br />Characteristic Duties: E;mployees in this classification operate <br />multiple types of vehicul.ar equipment including a Gradall, Road <br />Grader, Asphalt Spreader, Salt Spreader, Carry-All, Hy-Lift <br />Truck, Packer Trucks, Trucks of five (5) tons capacity or more, <br />Heavy Duty Snow Plows, Large Roller, Tractor, Street Sweeper, <br />Sanivac, and various type!s of earth moving equipment, such as <br />backhoe and bulldozer. :6ign making, the employee assigned to <br />signs must have the ability to interpret the Ohio Manual of <br />Uniform Traffic Control Ilevices, and maintain inventory control <br />of sign materials. Employees in this classification frequently <br />will direct the activitiE:!s of a work crew as assigned by super- <br />vision. An employee in t::his classification assigned to driving <br />a truck leads activities of the general laborers assigned to his <br />truck and is responsible for their activities. The employee will <br />receive generalized super-vision with specific directions available <br />as required.
