CI'1'Y OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />O:.DINANCE N0. 83-31 <br />PAGF. FOUR <br />SECTION 2: Employees shall be permitted to request that vacation leave <br />credit, earned in the prior year, be accumulated. In no evenC, shall the employee <br />be permitted to accumulate vacation leave credit in excesa of the vacation leave <br />credit earned in the prior year. Employees shall be required to [ake or request <br />to be paid for such accumulated vacation leave credit within one (1) year from the <br />da[e employee requested accumulation of such vacation leave credit. Employee ehall <br />forfeit his right [o take or to be paid for any vacation leave to his credit which <br />is in excess of the accumulated vacation credit for one (1) prior year. All such <br />excesa vacation leave credit ahall be eliminated from the employee'a vacation <br />leave balance. <br />SECTION 3: In all departments, vacations must be scheduled vith and suthor- <br />ized by the department head. Schedules are to be coordinated so as not to disrupt <br />necessary City services or functiona of the department. . <br />SECTION 4: That any ordinance or parts of ordinances inconaiatent herewith <br />are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed bv law. <br />. <br />PASSED: 3 <br />ATTEST: <br />&4,6?` e & n'cnaAX_ <br />FLORENCE E.
