r. , f <br />?. . <br />_ CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 85-77 <br />PACM 2 <br /> <br />SECTIdN 3: That all full-tume non-uniforni police personnel, having <br />ccinpleted five (5) years of full-time oontinuous service as employees of said <br />departrent shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual <br />salary; thereafter until canpletian of the tenth (lOth) year of full-time <br />continuous service, after whiCh such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of <br />their base annual salary; thereafter until the capletion of their fifteenth (15th) <br />year of full-ture oontinuous service, such enployee sha.ll receive six percent (6%) <br />of their base annual salatiy until after the amrpletion of their twentieth (20th) <br />year of full-time conti.nupus service and during each year of full-time service <br />thereafter, they shall receive seven percent (70) of their base annva.l salaiy <br />as longevity increments. <br />SECI'ION 4: That all full-time non-unifonn police personnel listed in this <br />Ordinance shall receive the follvwing holidays off unless required to work by <br />their supervisor, or the Mayor, in mnergencies, and shall receive regular rate <br />of pay: Pdew Year's Day, Presidents Day, Man»rial Day, Independence Day, Labor <br />Day, 'I'hanksgiving Day, Good. Friday, Christms Day, the enployee' s birthday, <br />and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time non-unifosan ploice personnel listed in this <br />Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with City <br />Ordinance No. 83-31. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance hereby repeals any and all Ordinances <br />or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions inconsistent herEwith. <br />SECTICA.V 7: That this Ordinance is hereby decalred to be an emergency <br />measure imEecltately necessary for the preservation of the publiC health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is inmediately necessaYy for <br />continuity of services of the safety forc:es of the City, and £urther pravided <br />it receives the affirniative vote of two-thirds of alT memebrs elected to Council <br />it shall take ffect d be in force umtiediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Ma r. ? <br />PASSED: lqf, ) <br />A'I'i'EST: <br />W. <br />First Rsading: 7 d llfsl_ <br />Second R?eadingc 3 <br />Third Reading : 16 ?'" <br />D.
