<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 85-71 <br />PAGE 5 <br />SECTION 11• That <br />established for•variou <br />and Management: <br />A. Director <br />B. The Secretary and <br />in accordance with the <br />the following salary ranges are hereby <br />s employees in the Department of Budget <br />FROM TO <br />$18,000 $28,700 Annually <br />Clerical Assistants shall be compensated <br />schedule established in Section 4 hereof. <br />C. The individual salaries to be paid to the employees of the <br />Department of Budget and Management as specified in Subsection <br />A and B hereof shall be established by the Director and Mayor. <br />SECTION 12: That the following salary is established for <br />members of the Police and Fire Department: <br />A. Chief of Police Department $39,599 <br />B. Chief of Fire Department $39,599 <br />C. Assistant Chief of Fire Department $35,043 <br />SECTION 13: That the salary ranges and amounts established <br />for the year 1985 will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1985, <br />with respect to all salaries within the range designated herein as <br />payable in 1985. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be <br />paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 14: The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Sections 6 <br />and 7 hereof will be paid time and one-half of their straight time <br />rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any <br />one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay <br />for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. <br />SECTION 15: That all full time administrative and legislative <br />personnel having completed five (5) years of full time continuous <br />service as employees of said departments shall be paid an additional <br />four percent (40) of their base annual salary; thereafter until <br />completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full time continuous service <br />after which such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their <br />base annual salary; thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth <br />(15th) year of full time continuous service, such employee shall re- <br />ceive six percent (60) of their base annual salary until after the <br />completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full time continuous <br />service, and during each year of full time service thereafter they <br />shall receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments. <br />SECTION 16: That all full time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following <br />holidays off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the <br />Mayor in emergencies and shall receive their regular rate of pay: <br />New Year's Day; President's Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Inde- <br />pendence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the <br />employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 17: That all full time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance adopted by council. <br />
