The Department of Human Resources shall have included <br />therein a Division of Aging, which shall be administered by an <br />Administrator who shall be responsible for supervising and <br />coordinating all activities dealing with or relating to the <br />social aspects of aging. Said Administrator shall be appointed <br />by the Mayor and shall be answerable to the Mayor. He shall <br />likewise perform such other duties consistent with his office <br />and as may be required by ordinance of Council or as directed <br />by the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: That if such amendment is approved by a <br />majority of the electors voting thereon at such election, it <br />shall become effective from and after the time of its approval <br />by the electors. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br />and directed to cause a copy of the proposed Charter amendment to <br />be published in such manner as may be authorized by law. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 5: That the Board of Elections is hereby requested <br />to cause appropriate notice of such election to be duly given in <br />accordance with law. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation <br />of the public peace, property, health and safety of the City of <br />North Olmsted and for the further reason that this Ordinance must <br />be immediately effective in order to permit necessary arrangements <br />to be made in sufficient time for said election; wherefore, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage. <br />,.?' <br />? ? <br />PASSED.
