CITY QF NQRTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85 - 57 <br />By; MR. WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTTSE FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE REPAIR AND <br />RESURFACING OF STREETS IN THE OLMSTED COLONY SUBDIVISION <br />INCLUDING HOLLY DRIVE, ASPEN DRIVE, SPRUCE DRIVE, <br />PIAGNOLIA DRIVE, ELDER DRIVE, CYPRESS DRIVE AND MAPLEHURST <br />ROAD, AS DETAILED IN THE OLMSTED COLONY SUBDIVISION <br />PAVEMENT PLANS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, City Council is desirous of improving and restoring <br />the roadway, curbs and drainage appurtenances in the Olmsted Colony <br />Subdivision, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications as designed <br />by the Engineering Department of the City are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEb BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the improvement and <br />restoration of roadway, curbs and drainage appurtenances according <br />to plans and specifications now on file in his office and that, <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and further, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />1'3??.?-o-q,/ <br />Florence E.
